About me
From a young age, I was surrounded by motorcycles and cars, strongly influenced by my father, who was a photographer and a lifelong motorcycling enthusiast. My father’s passion led him to compete in the renowned MANX GP on the Isle of Man, and the roar of the engine and the feeling of the wind in his face still run through my veins. With this background, I now personally operate vehicles, mounting cameras on both motorcycles and cars, and can synchronize my movements with high-speed racing vehicles, controlling focus and framing. Whether the speed is slower than walking or faster than racing, my shooting style remains consistent.
For me, photography and video are inseparable, and I approach them seamlessly as one. While I started my career focusing on motorcycles and cars, decades of shooting advertisements and catalogs for automobile manufacturers have honed my skills in all kinds of situations. Whether in deserts, tropical rainforests, or on ice, I’ve captured dynamic and static moments through my viewfinder. Through this journey, I’ve photographed a wide range of subjects, allowing me to work without being confined to any particular category.
In 2014, I relocated from Japan to Sydney, where I continue to work. Without being bound to specific locations, I leverage my global connections to envision and execute any type of shoot, starting with just one lens and building a detailed plan from there.
